In 2006 began the dream of a mural to celebrate the sister city relationship with Brunswick, Maine and Trinidad, Cuba.
Brunswick’s sister city connection to Trinidad, Cuba is unique and extraordinary. In celebration of a six plus year commitment and connection to this culturally rich World Heritage Site by UNESCO, we sponsored a large vibrant mural to be placed in the downtown business district.
Many meetings, dozens of fundraisers and many hours of painting later this 8 x 32 foot mural was unveiled to much fanfare on the wall of 11 Pleasant Street in Brunswick.
